China is ready to work with the EU to support a more broad-based, authoritative and effective international peace conference to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, China's state media quoted President Xi Jinping as saying on Monday. The pressing task was to realize a comprehensive ceasefire as quickly as possible, and the key priority was to ensure humanitarian assistance, Xi told French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during a trilateral meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
