Israel's severe COVID-19 caseload drops to 303

The Health Ministry reported Saturday evening that the number of severe COVID-19 cases dropped to 303, 155 of whom were connected to ventilators.
Meanwhile, 962 Israelis have tested positive for COVID-19 out of some 90,000 tests carried out over the past 24 hours, putting the country's infection rate at 1.07%.
Since the onset of the pandemic, 8,046 Israelis have passed away from complications of COVID-19, two of them on Saturday and three on Friday.
