Israel on Wednesday reported 72,120 new daily COVID cases diagnosed the previous day, with over 200,000 Israelis testing positive for pathogen in just three days.
The Health Ministry said 533 coronavirus patients are in severe condition, an increase of 35 from the same figure reported a day earlier.
At least 8,350 people have died from coronavirus-related complications since the start of the pandemic, 10 of whom passed away on Tuesday.
