Biden's envoy will visit Beirut amid rising tensions on the border, report

The Lebanese Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Akhbar newspaper reported that Amos Hochstein, U.S. President Joe Biden's Special Envoy to the Middle East, may visit Beirut to examine the possibility of curbing the situation on the Lebanese border following the recent escalation. The Americans believe that the situation in Lebanon will not be quelled before reaching an agreement in Gaza. (Lior Ben Ari)
