Professor Ronni Gamzu the coronavirus czar warned that if a significant reduction in coronavirus cases is not achieved within two weeks there may be no option but to impose lock-downs on either specific areas or the entire country.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyau's office said the options of closures are not off the table, "but for now, the decision is to follow professor Gamzu's recommendations and wait."
