American actor Debora Messing visits in Israel: 'Wouldn't want to be anywhere else'

The actress entered Gaza, saw Hamas tunnels while also showing gratitude to the IDF soldiers; 'nothing can transmit the magnitude of what happened here' she says

Actress Debra Messing, who arrived in Israel earlier this week visited the Gaza border area on Wednesday and saw the devastation at Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Accompanied by British journalist Douglas Murray, the American actress crossed the border into Gaza, surrounded by IDF soldiers, clad in a vest and helmet.

Upon arriving in Israel, Messing has been on the move. "This is my first time in Israel," she said. "I am very happy to be here; I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now."
Douglas Murray, a political commentator, and author, known for his pro-Israel stance and unique perspective on the prolonged war, asked Messing to explain the significance of her visit to the Gaza border. "I wanted to bear witness, thank the troops and I wanted to see what happened here on October 7."
"I wish the whole world could be here to see it in person because nothing can transmit the magnitude of what happened here. But I will do my best to share my experience with everybody, that's why I'm here."

Messing visited people who were wounded in the Hamas attack toured Kibbutz Kfar Aza, and, met with President Herzog and his wife.
