Following Jewish actor Jerry Seinfeld’s visit to Israel along with his wife Jessica last week, she decided to post about the trip on her social media accounts to her 600,000 followers.

“We wanted to see for ourselves the impacts of the October 7th attacks,” she wrote. ”We saw homes where families were tortured, shot, bombed and burned alive. We stood in a field where kids at a music festival were murdered and kidnapped by the hundreds as they fled.”
She added, “As painful as it was to be in those places, however, what I will remember the most is the people we met in Israel. Heroes who rescued and saved thousands of lives. Young people from New York who came to work in farms to replace those who have gone to fight against Hamas."
The couple’s recent visit marks Jessica’s fifth visit to the country, after which she wrote, ”The horror of October 7th has erased divisions within Israel. I have never seen a more unified country. Everyone has come together for a greater cause – to defeat Hamas, to build a better and safer Israel, and a better, safer world.”

The couple and their three children arrived in Israel last week as part of a number of Hollywood celebrities who came to witness the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7. One of their initial stops on the trip was a visit to the Abducted and Missing Families Forum, where they met and spoke with the hostages’ families.
Later during their visit to Israel, Jerry and his wife toured Kibbutz Be’eri located close to the Gaza Strip, where they met with Yuval Haran, whose father Avshalom (Avshal) Haran, was murdered in the attack.
"It was very meaningful for me to meet Jerry because my dad was a big fan of his show," Haran recounted. "We watched a lot of episodes together, and I know he’s laughing at the news that Jerry Seinfeld came to see him. We talked about the hostages and how critical time is for them. Every moment in Gaza places their lives are in danger, and we must do everything in our power to bring them home."
