Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to the ongoing political crisis on Monday, at the opening of a joint statement with Jared Kushner, an adviser and son-in-law of outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump.
"We have reached an agreement with Blue and& White. Unfortunately due to internal pressure within his party, Benny Gantz decided to go back on his word and thus lead the country to unnecessary elections in the midst of the coronavirus crisis."
