Some 14 thousand Palestinian workers from the West Bank entered Israel on Sunday morning as more health restrictions are lifted by the country.
Later in the week another 40 thousand Palestinian workers are set to cross into the country.
Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the workers entering Israel will stay inside the country for a period of no less than a month, before returning to the Palestinian Authority.
