The Prime Minister's office said on Sunday that Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu was suspended from participating in cabinet meetings indefinitely after he said dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza was one option for Israel. Eliyahu later said his comments were metaphorical. Netanyahu said the minister was detached from reality and that the IDF was conducting its offensive according to the highest standards of international law.
