Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi is set to fly to Egypt's capital next week for indirect talks with Hamas meant to solidify the ceasefire reached after 11 days of fighting.
This will be Ashkenazi's first visit to Cairo and the first official visit of an Israeli foreign minister to Egypt in many years.
