IDC Herzliya to be recognized as an unbudgeted private university

The Council for Higher Education in Israel has decided to grant the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC Herzliya) recognition as an unbudgeted private university.
Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton said that "the recognition of the IDC as a university is another step in strengthening Israel's higher education. The IDC is an institution with an innovative, creative agenda with international emphases."
