Serious damage was caused to a medical institution in Akko from the rocket barrages that were shot at the area. No injuries have been reported.
Six rockets were fired toward Nahariya; one man was lightly injured by shrapnel and three people were treated for shock. One building suffered a direct hit, and four brushfires broke out in the city as a result of the rocket attack.
In Maalot three people were lightly wounded from shrapnel after four rocket barrages were fired at the city; some rockets landed in open fields while others struck residential areas. Another rocket barrage was fired toward a nearby community, but no injuries or damage were reported.
Minutes after the landings in Maalot, sirens were sounded in Carmiel and the Western Galilee.
Earlier seven rockets landed on a road leading to Tiberias and in nearby open fields; another rocket struck a building in an industrial zone in the area; one person was treated for shock, and no damage was reported.
A Katyusha rocket landed in an open field in Safed Saturday morning. No one was injured and no damage was reported.
Police said 1,646 rockets have been fired at Israel since July 12, 432 of which landed in populated areas.
Since Hizbullah kidnapped two soldiers 18 days ago, 19 people were killed and 26 were seriously injured. About 40 people were moderately injured, 350 sustained light wounds and 677 were treated for shock.
Paramedics said 43 people remain hospitalized.
Firefighters in the north are on high alert after a rocket landed near a firefighting station last week.

"We are here with boosted forces of firefighters from the center. The firefighters are working double shifts. When there are landings (rockets) they set out fearless of more landings. The set out to save lives," officer Kamal Shoufaniya said.
Residents in shelters
Residents of northern communities have been asked to remain in shelters.
According to IDF instructions residents living north of the line Akko-Amiad Junction should refrain from holding public meetings.
Residents of Nazareth, Upper Nazareth, Kiryat Tivon and Migdal Haemek were also asked to stay in.
