Likud minister Miri Regev, speaking at a Tuesday rally in support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, remarked that "the rule of law is not above the law".
"The main essence of democracy is checks and balances. It seems some are pushing too hard and we must stop them", she added.
