Court rejects pedophile suspect's plea for psychiatric expert panel

Yael Friedson |
The Supreme Court dismissed on Tuesday the appeal of Malka Leifer, accused of pedophilia in Australia, on the district court's decision to appoint a psychiatric expert panel to review her mental state.
According to Justice David Mintz, "this is a complicated factual and legal decision as to the state of mind of the appellant, given the significant gaps between contradictory opinions submitted."
