Foreign Minister Israel Katz met on Friday in Rome with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The two men discussed the imprisonment of Naama Issachar, an Israeli woman sentenced to a long prison term in Russian on drug charges with Katz requesting Issachar's family be allowed more visits to see her.
