Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he is not working to thwart primary elections in the Likud.
"If the decision to have primary elections for the Likud's leadership does come to pass, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is sure to win by a large margin," said a representative of the prime minister
Gideon Sa'ar, Netanyahu's main rival in the primaries praised the announcement, "we will have clean respectable elections, the members of the Likud will decide the future."
