Arrangements Committee okays submission of elections bill

The Knesset Arrangements Committee on Wednesday morning approved the speedy submission of a bill to call elections by the end of the day.
If no deal to form a new government is reached by midnight, the Knesset must dissolve itself and fresh elections held.
If the bill passes, it would mark the start of the third round of elections in a 12-month period.
