The New York Times reported on Wednesday that one of the suspects in the New Jersey kosher grocery shooting posted anti-Semitic posts and hostile content against police on social media, police officials said.
Earlier, Jersey City Mayor Stephen Pollop told ABC Network that the shooting was being investigated as an anti-Semitic event. Wednesday morning, Pollop noted that a preliminary investigation revealed that the shooters had pre-selected the kosher supermarket as a destination.
At the same time, the names of two of those killed in the incident were posted - 24-year-old Moshe Hersche Deutsch and 33-year-old Leah Mindel Franz.
