Democratic Union says 'not sure' Shaffir will be placed second on party list ahead of March vote

The Democratic Union, a political alliance between Meretz and Ehud Barak’s Israel Democratic Party, said Monday they are to hold talks with former Labor lawmaker Stav Shaffir, who is also part of the alliance and was placed second on the list before the September elections.
"We are not sure that Shaffir will once again be placed as number two on the Democratic Union list,” said a senior party official.
