Abbas: 'Hope Israeli elections bring new faces that believe in peace'

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said at the Fatah leadership conference in Ramallah on Tuesday that he hoped that the elections held in Israel on March 2 would "succeed and bring with them new faces who believe in peace and accept peace with us."
He said the results of the elections would also affect the Palestinians. He added that he hopes to continue the peace process.
