University students to be required to attend at least two English courses

Adir Yanko|
The Center for Academic Studies (CAS) approved on Tuesday a reform of the English higher education system, under which students in all budgeted academic institutions will be required to attend at least two English courses.
The first year in which the reform will be implemented is in 2021, and by 2024, all public academic institutions will be required for its full application.
The courses the student will take will be set according to his or her English proficiency level upon entering their academic studies and will be counted as credit.
