Twenty civilians were killed and dozens were injured in air and ground strikes by Syrian Government and Russian forces in the Idlib province in northwestern Syria, according to a Tuesday report by the Syrian Monitoring Center for Human Rights, an opposition organization based in the United Kingdom.
The number of fatalities is expected to rise, as there are more than 18 seriously injured.
Idlib remains the last rebel stronghold in Syria and is controled by terrorist organizations linked to Al-Qaeda.
