The Lebanese news network Al Mayadeen published an article on Tuesday, alleging that a Shin Bet operative attempted to recruit a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip, a member of Hamas' military arm, in an alleged operation aimed at sabotaging the organization's long-range rockets.
The Shin Bet wanted the Palestinian to launch a rocket targeting stored rockets by means of GPS, along with other means of sabotage that would cause the rockets to explode at their launch.
