U.K. condemns West Bank settlement expansion plan

The United Kingdom condemned on Wednesday the newly approved West Bank settlement expansion by the Supreme Planning Council.
The plan includes the construction of 1,936 new housing units, most of them in isolated settlements.
The British Foreign Ministry statement said: "We call on Israel to immediately stop the expansion of settlements."
