Mohammed al-Halbousi, the speaker of the Iraqi Parliament on Wednesday
called the Iranian strikes against bases in Iraq a "violation of Iraqi sovereignty."
The speaker urged all parties involved in the recent escalation of violence, to show "restraint and wisdom"
al-Halbousi also asked the Iraqi government to preserve Iraq's sovereignty.
