Thousands of Bedouin students to not attend local schools to protest lack of funding

|
Some 18,000 students living in unrecognized villages in the Negev's Bedouin-majority Regional Council of Alksom will refrain from going to school on Sunday to protest lack of funding from the Education Ministry to the region.
At 11 am on Sunday, a hearing is set to take place at Be'er Sheva District Court to debate the petitions filed by the residents of the area against the regional councilmen and the ministry.
