Labor-Gesher announces political merger with Meretz

Labor-Gesher leader Amir Peretz, and head of the Meretz party, Nitzan Horowitz, announced on Monday that their two parties will merge ahead of the March 2 elections.
The new faction's list will be headed by Labor leader Peretz, with the head of the Gesher party, Orly Levy-Abekasis acting as number two, and Meretz leader, Horowitz, acting as the party's number three.
