President Reuven Rivlin announced on Monday his decision to allow disgraced businessman, Nochi Dankner, to apply for parole four months earlier due to Dankner's worsening medical condition.
Dankner was convicted in 2016 for security fraud and market manipulation, in 2018 Dankner appealed his conviction, with the Supreme Court rejecting his appeal and subsequently increasing his sentence to three years of imprisonment.
