Military police investigators arrested a Navy Major suspect this week on suspicion of raping a young woman inside a military base.
His arrest remanded on Tuesday in the Haifa Military Court until Monday, for further investigation.
The IDF intends to collect evidence from other sources at the base.
Apparently, the complainant is not a soldier. At the officer's request, the court issued a prohibition order on his name and his identifying details.
