Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday he is hoping to hear "good news" from Russian President Vladimir Putin about a possible release of an Israeli held in a Russian jail.
"As the Kremlin said, I will meet with President Putin on Thursday in order to talk to him about pardoning Naama [Issachar], like all of you I'm hoping for good news," he said.
The two leaders are set to meet on Thursday in Jerusalem.
