Senior Palestinian officials said on Thursday that security coordination with Israel will continue despite the shooting incident in which a Palestinian police officer was killed in Jenin.
According to the sources, "cessation of coordination is a doomsday weapon and the last step in the list of Palestinian sanctions."
"Such a cessation will end relations with Israel."
It was also reported that "the possibility of coordination being completely halted is low and will only happen if Israel annexes parts of the West Bank."
It was also reported that "Hamas may exploit the liberated atmosphere to carry out a terrorist attack that does not require complex organizing, such as a shooting attack."
