Rise of 36% in homophobic incidents in 2019, most on social media

2019 has seen a rise of 36% in homophobic incidents from 2018, according to a report published by The Aguda – Israel's LGBT Task Force on Wednesday.
According to the report, 2,125 instances of homophobia were reported, more than half of them on social media.
Data shows that 46% target gays and bisexuals, 22% lesbians and 25% transsexuals.
