The elections for the 23rd Knesset were opened on Tuesday at Israel's embassies and consulates around the world.
Israeli Ambassador to New Zealand Dr. Itzhak Gerberg was the first Israeli to cast his vote in these elections, scheduled to take place on March 2 in Israel.
