Israel confirms coronavirus in a man who returned from Italy days ago

The health ministry has confirmed on Thursday a man who returned from Italy days ago has contracted the coronavirus.
the man was not identified but health officials say they are transporting him to the dedicated quarantine area at the Sheba hospital near Tel Aviv.
On Wednesday, health officials announced anyone returning from Italy must remain in quarantine for a period of 14 days.
On Thursday, Interior Minister Arye Deri announced he would be banning entry of non-Israelis arriving from Italy.
