Jerusalem District Prosecutor filed an indictment in the city's District Court Sunday against Rabbi Eliezer Berland for aggravated bribe taking.
According to the indictment, he presented to his patients "for years and in a planned manner of misrepresentations for resurrection, full recovery from serious and incurable diseases and recovery from disability and serious medical conditions."
The prosecutor's office sought to remand his detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
