IDF chief calls off U.S. visit over coronavirus concerns

Based on the new directives issued by the Health Ministry on Wednesday in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the IDF announced that a planned work visit to the U.S. next week by chief Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi will be postponed.
The Israel Defense Forces says the decision was made in consultation with the Health Ministry.
The military does not specify a new date for the visit.
