Welfare Ministry bars visitors from entering nursing homes

The Welfare Ministry announced Tuesday that visits to nursing homes will be barred indefinitely in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
“Due to the sensitivity of the elderly population and the need to maintain their health, family visits will only be able to take place outside the nursing homes,” the ministry said.
