A man in his 40s has been charged with robbing and beating an elderly man in Tel Aviv.
The victim was badly hurt in the attack in which his assailant stole NIS 5,000 that he had just taken from an ATM on Jerusalem Boulevard.
The attacker threw the man to the ground and continued to beat him once he was down. He was confronted by a passer-by and fled, and was captured shortly afterwards.
