Blue & White chairman Benny Gantz phoned Joint List leader Ayman Odeh after he was tasked earlier Monday by President Rivlin with forming the next government, vowing to form a coalition "that will serve all citizens."
“Gantz told him that Blue and White under his leadership is committed to forming a government that will serve all citizens of the State of Israel,” a statement from Blue & White said.
Unlike after Gantz’s other phone calls with party chiefs, the statement didn't say if the Blue & White chief invited Odeh to meet.
