Knesset approves creation of special coronavirus committee

The Knesset plenum on Tuesday approved the creation of four special parliamentary committees, including one to deal with the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The committee on coronavirus will be headed by Blue & White MK Ofer Shelah.
The other committees are one on education to be headed by Meretz leader MK Nitzan Horowitz; one on social affairs to be chaired by a Joint List MK; and one on countering violence in the Arab sector, also to be led by a Joint List MK.
