Israel in need of ventilators amid virus crisis, research center says

|
The Knesset Research and Information Center reported on Thursday that currently Israel has 2,173 ventilators, of which about one-third - 708 - are in use, while 28 others are nonfunctional, leaving approximately 1,437 machines available for serious COVID-19 patients.
While the Health Ministry said it is in the process of purchasing additional machines, it is still unclear just how many will be available.
