Netanyahu, Gantz to meet Saturday evening on unity government

Moran Azulay|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Knesset Speaker Benny Gantz were to meet Saturday evening to discuss a unity government.
Both Likud and Israel Resilience say that as part of the unity government agreement, legislation will be drafted that will allow Netanyahu to remain interim prime minister and a member of the cabinet despite his criminal indictment and until a verdict is announced in his trial.
The legislation will likely be presented for a Knesset vote next week.
