A new report published on Sunday by the National Employment Service says that "the Israeli economy will take many years to return to its former level of employment" before the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the report, if the crisis continues until mid-April, around 20% of the country's workforce that was put on unpaid leave will not be able to return to their previous jobs, in comparison with previous assessments that predicted only 10%.
