Israel earmarks NIS 200 million for NGOs to fight coronavirus

The Prime Minister's Office and the Treasury agree on a NIS 200 million fund for non-profit organizations to help battle the coronavirus.
The head of the PMO, Ronen Peretz, said: "We recognize the third sector's importance and contribution to society and the economy in Israel, in particular at the moment. That is why the PMO will continue to work with third-party partners to promote more avenues for assistance and to ensure that these organizations keep functioning."
