Supreme Court to televise hearings of special public interest

The Supreme Court is expected to deliver 10 live broadcasts in the coming year from hearings of special public interest, which are being held before the High Court or an expanded panel of judges, in accordance with the instructions of Supreme Court President Esther Hayut.
The court is considering relaying live hearings Thursday on petitions regarding Israel Prison Service and police authorization to gather information on verified coronavirus patients with the aim of fighting the outbreak.
