The mandate to form a government, given to Blue & White leader Benny Gantz expired at midnight Wednesday as talks for a unity government are expected to continue Thursday.
Blue and White sources claimed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hopes for a fourth election cycle and therefore progress in the talks is not being made.
