Hamas leader keeps pushing for prisoner deal with Israel

|
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said Friday evening that several mediators have contacted the terror group to broker a prisoner exchange with Israel.
"We are ready for indirect negotiations in light of the humanitarian situation," said Haniyeh. "If Israeli leaders are serious - we are willing to cut a deal to free our prisoners. Several parties and mediators have contacted Hamas to see what conditions we would be willing to agree to. We showed them what might be the real key to this issue."
