Government approves lockdown on coronavirus-hit Deir al-Asad

The government Friday night approved a 7-day lockdown on the northern town of Deir al-Asad after the number of coronavirus infections there grew at an alarming rate.
Sixty-two of the Arab town's residents have been tested positive for the virus, a 589% percent leap in the last three days.
