Police shut down a Talmud Torah (religious elementary school) in Modi'in-Ilit on Monday after it operated in breach of social distancing laws meant to rein in the spread of coronavirus.
Police officers sent some 50 students home, handed fines to three staff members, and detained four more individuals who refused to identify themselves for questioning.
